Anna serves as the NC State Industry Expansion Solutions (IES) regional manager for South-Central North Carolina including Chatham,  Lee, Harnett, Johnston, Moore, Sampson, Wake and Wilson counties. Anna has a diverse private and public industry background in which she has worked with manufacturers, healthcare and the government in support of economic development.

Prior to her role as regional manager, Anna led North Carolina’s Sustainable Manufacturing Program, E3: Economy, Energy, Environment. This effort worked across 24 North Carolina communities and 52 manufacturers generating over $29 million in economic impact and growing 270 manufacturing jobs. E3 NC was recognized as a leading manufacturing support program by The White House and the US Department of Commerce and was adopted by many states across the nation. Anna also served IES as an EHS Specialist, delivering on-site services and training including Lean and green techniques, ISO 14001 and a variety of occupational health and safety classes. Anna has a B.S. in environmental technology, with minors in environmental toxicology and environmental science from NC State University.

Anna is proud to serve the communities her family has been a part of for close to 300 years. In her free time, Anna enjoys all things coastal including boating, fishing, walking on the beach, learning about beach history, collecting beach art, playing bocci ball, hunting for seashells and spending time with her beloved dog Sullivan (named after her Freshman dorm at NC State).
