Importers and exporters are required to use reasonable care and due diligence in determining accurate classifications. We will learn and review the six GRI used to classify every product. We will go through instructor and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) based sample classifications using each of the GRIs. SUMMARY:Introduction to STEP 12
DESCRIPTION:The State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) is specifically designed to help small businesses in North Carolina fund costs associated with international trade. Qualifying exporters are eligible for up to $12\,000 in reimbursements for international business building activities. The US Small Business Administration (SBA) awarded the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina with the next round of STEP funding. STEP 12 will run from September 30\, 2024\, through September 29\, 2025. DESCRIPTION:In this webinar\, you will gain insights about North Carolina’s export-related grants that are offered through the State Trade Expansion Program (STEP). Service providers and prior grant recipients from North Carolina companies will walk through multiple STEP offerings and provide examples of how they have used the STEP grant to boost exports.
