DESCRIPTION:The North Carolina Military Business Center will host “Introduction to Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS)” virtually on the following dates: \n\n\nFebruary 29\, 2024 from 9-10:30 a.m.\nAugust 8\, 2024 from 9-10:30 a.m.\n\n\nThe Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) is a web-based application that enables the vendor community to search for\, view\, and submit secure quotes on Requests for Quotations (RFQs). Through DIBBS\, users can search for and view Requests for Proposal (RFPs)\, Invitations for Bid (IFB)\, Awards\, and other procurement information. This training will provide an overview of DIBBS registration; searching solicitations; accessing technical data; submitting quotes; and searching awards.\n  \n\nREGISTER TO ATTEND\n\n  \nRegistration\nThis is a free webinar; however\, pre-registration is required in order to receive the virtual platform credentials. SUMMARY:Medical\, Biomedical & Biodefense: Support to the Warfighter Symposium
DESCRIPTION:Directions and Map \nHalf-day Pre-symposium\, hosted at the NC Biotechnology Center (15 TW Alexander Drive\, Durham\, NC 27709). To participate\, you must registered as a MBB participant for June 14th. A new half-day pre-symposium on June 13\, 12:30-4:30 pm in the afternoon at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center will focus on the truths and myths of Department of Defense (DoD) funding. Sessions will include introductions from NC Partners who strengthen the defense sector\, company success stories working with the DoD/military/other government agencies\, and an introduction to DoD funding. \nMedical Support to the Warfighter\, will connect businesses in North Carolina with military and other federal agencies that require or purchase medical supplies\, equipment\, devices\, pharmaceuticals\, medical information technology and medical services. Representatives from the Departments of Defense\, Veterans Affairs and Health and Human Services\, their prime vendors and major contractors – from national commands and from bases\, commands and facilities in North Carolina – will highlight current technology or resource gaps and needs\, future requirements and procurement processes to supply military and federal medical facilities and agencies. All medical-related businesses in North Carolina – large or small\, prime contractors\, subcontractors\, suppliers\, manufacturers and service providers – will benefit from briefings on military requirements\, procurement processes and supplier qualifications\, from informal networking with buyers and users\, and from exhibiting or viewing demonstrations of the latest medical technologies designed to support America’s warfighters. \nThe Biomedical and Biodefense Support to the Warfighter track will feature sessions on biodefense preparedness; research & development funding and collaboration to create novel military medical solutions; and human performance. \n  \nRegister Now >>
