SUMMARY:PCE Plastics Recycling Symposium 2025
DESCRIPTION:The Path to Getting Plastics Out of the Waste Stream\nGetting manufacturing partners\, scientists\, government officials and academicians together to discuss the transformation of plastic waste.\nPlastics Recycling – From Collection to Reuse\nOn April 29-30\, 2025\, The Polymers Center in Charlotte is holding a conference on plastics sustainability\, from collection to reclaimed pellet\, focused on providing the latest technology to accomplish that goal. At the conference\, we also will address the threat of micro/nano plastics and the evolving methods with which to identify them\, then counter them.\n  \nREGISTER TO ATTEND\n \nThis is a topic of concern nationally\, and dealing with this issue is complex. The goal of this seminar is to get all stakeholders in the same room\, to hash out the problems\, and find potential solutions for plastics.\n \nWe will dive into: \n\n\nSortation technology\nMechanical and chemical recycling\nEnvironmental aspects\nMicro/nano plastics\nEconomic and political aspects\nLatest in technology\n\n\nThe consequences of micro/nano plastics on land\, ocean\, and air\, is just now beginning to be understood and does not seem to be on the radar of many leaders in the industry and government.\n \nWe invite you to be a participant in this very important conversation. $500 for both days. Contact Daeng Hawkins to learn more\, dhawkins@polymers-center.org or 704.602.4100.\n  \nREGISTER TO ATTEND\n  \nMORE INFORMATION

SUMMARY:Paulson ProMolder III
DESCRIPTION:Paulson’s most advanced injection molding course. Through intensive machine time and use of our unique injection molding simulator SimTech™\, ProMolder 3 is the most thorough and technically accurate training available in the industry. Based on the science of injection molding\, Paulson’s focus is on the four basic variables as they interact with machine controls. Paulson teaches molding from the “plastic’s point of view” as running a series of machine capability tests is only a beginning step in becoming a molding expert. If you are a user of Scientific Molding techniques ProMolder 3 will take you to the next level in truly understanding molding from a scientific perspective. All Paulson seminars and courseware are vendor neutral.\n  \n\nREGISTER TO ATTEND\n\n \nProMolder 3 will teach you the “why” behind injection molding. Featuring 20+ hours of machine and simulator time\, ProMolder 3 will make you an expert molder. Cycle optimization and advanced problem solving skills require knowledge and the practice. ProMolder 3 provides plenty of both. The skills you acquire will allow you to confidently make production floor decisions that decrease downtime and increase productivity.\n  \nCourse Objectives:\n\n\nA review of ProMolder 2 preparatory\, simulator and molding machine operations\nAdvanced\, four plastic variables analysis of part properties and the machine solutions\nSetting machine controls for start-up and optimizing cycle times and the reasons for each\nObtain practical hands-on application experience in machine settings\nMolding machine start-up\, operation and problem solving using both SimTech and actual molding machines\nEstablishing UCL and LCL and trend analysis\nComplete descriptions and pricing for Paulson courses are provided by Paulson Training Programs. Registration for this course must be completed through Paulson Training Programs.

SUMMARY:Paulson ProMolder II
DESCRIPTION:Paulson ProMolder™ 2 is a 5 day classroom and hands-on injection molding seminar. ProMolder 2 is taught in 2 modules:\n \nModule 1 explains the plastics used in injection molding\, their properties and behavior\, how these affect part quality\, the scientific basis and the technology of molding. This is followed by a detailed analysis of common injection molded part defects\, their causes and solutions. The seminar explores not just A solution\, but challenges you to find the best solution (attendees may bring molded part examples from their plants for analysis).\n  \n\nREGISTER TO ATTEND\n\n \nModule 2 is hands-on injection molding practice using SimTech\, the Paulson injection molding simulator to provide each student hands-on practice in setting and observing the effects of each machine control on the plastic and the molded parts and problem-solving. This is followed by a molding laboratory on an actual machine to demonstrate the concepts and principles taught over the previous 4 days.\n \nComplete descriptions and pricing for Paulson courses are provided by Paulson Training Programs. Registration for this course must be completed through Paulson Training Programs.
