SUMMARY:Trade Mission to DEFEA
DESCRIPTION:Defense Exhibition Athens (DEFEA) hosts the international defense industry alongside the major Greek defense companies\, with exhibitors presenting an equal split across land\, air\, sea and cyber security.\nΤhe giants of the global defense industry are present as exhibitors\, with presidents\, senior vice presidents\, and top executives from leading international companies attending each DEFEA. \nThe exhibition promotes international collaboration\, knowledge exchange\, and business opportunities\, enabling exhibitors to expand their global networks and access new markets. By promoting cooperation and collaboration\, DEFEA propels the growth of the defense industry beyond national borders\, bolstering the competitiveness and relevance of regional players on a global scale. \nAt DEFEA 2023\, 346 exhibitors from 28 countries have participated. During the exhibition significant industrial cooperation agreements were signed that break the national barriers and promote the extroversion of the Greek defence industry. \nThe companies participating in the exhibition (either as part of a National Pavillion or independently) present the latest technologies and cutting-edge defence systems in: \n• Land/ sea/ air\n• National security systems\n• Cyber security systems\n• Vehicles\, vessels and aircrafts\n• Sub-assemblies and ammunition\n• Communication and detection systems\n• Weapons and weapon systems\n• Personal equipment & tools\n• Information & cyber security\n• Training\, navigation & simulation\n• Infrastructures\, logistic support & transportation\n• Medical\, R&D and services \nDEFEA’s second edition almost doubled its visitors compared to the first\, gained about 10% more exhibitors and hosted official delegations increased by more than 20%.\nThe international aspect of DEFEA 2023 is highlighted by the fact that it welcomed 23.413 visitors from 91 countries\, 37 countries more than the first edition (+68%). \nDEFEA: 2023 vs. 2021\n• +93% VISITORS\n• +10% EXHIBITORS\n• +22% DELEGATIONS\n• +68% COUNTRIES \nLearn More    Register Now   View All Export Events
