SUMMARY:SAVE THE DATE: A Discussion on Veteran and Military Suicide Prevention in North Carolina
DESCRIPTION:The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs\, Defense Health Agency and North Carolina community will highlight what each is doing in the fight against veteran suicide as well as best practices around mental health for North Carolina service members and the veteran community. This event will address the work of the VA’s Veteran Crisis Line and provide for engagement with the VA\, Raleigh/Durham community\, industry\, and military stakeholders. Speakers include: \nDr. Christopher Watson\, Executive Director\, Veterans Crisis Line\, Department of Veterans Affairs (pending agency approval) Additional speakers to be announced. \nMore information to come.
