DESCRIPTION:ESGR Host: Mabry “Bud’ Martin\, Area Chair\, NC ESGR; Brigadier General\, Retired\, US Army\, Civilian Aide to the Secretary Defense.\n  \nREGISTER TO ATTEND\n \nIn coordination with the Defense Alliance of NC\, North Carolina Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve\, is sponsoring an Employer Luncheon. Employers will learn about ESGR and the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA)\, NC ESGR will provide Employer Resource Guides and answer questions pertaining to the issues involved with managing employees that serve in the Guard and Reserve and are a critical part of our nation’s defense. A Buffet lunch will be served.\n \nWe welcome anyone from the private or public sector who is involved with hiring\, managing or supervising employees. On September 22\, 2021\, the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation awarded North Carolina State University Industry Extension Services (IES) one of the five grants under the Defense Manufacturing Community Support Program (DMCSP).
