Prospective Topics may include: \n\nHand Knitting\, Stitch Formation\, Yarn Basics\nGarment Assembly and Quality Control Basics\nM1 Programming Introduction and Basics\nIntermediate – Advanced M1 programming\n\nYour courses will be taught by industry leading flat knitting professionals with a mixture of both theoretical and real world experience. Instructors will work with students directly and format the classes to ensure individual goals are achieved! \nThe class size at the Stoll Innovation and Training Center ranges from a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 6 students and lasts for 5 days. DESCRIPTION:REGISTER TO ATTEND\n \nIn-person Event\n \nThe MSC Manufacturing Day will begin in the new MSC II facility at 350 5th Avenue SE in Conover\, NC at 10 a.m. with presentations about the MSC and the companies which operate in the MSC II building. A tour of the MSC facilities will be available to attendees following the presentation. The program is co-sponsored by the Conover branch of the Catawba County Library System. The MSC’s mission is to support US manufacturers and to create and retain US manufacturing jobs. This event is free and open to the public\, but registration is required.

DESCRIPTION:March 30\, 2023 @ 4:00 pm | manufacturingsolutionscenter.org/\n350 5th Avenue SE\, Conover\, NC 28613 \nNCMEP partner\, the Manufacturing Solutions Center in Conover\, North Carolina has announced the Grand Opening date of the new Manufacturing Solutions Center II facility. \nThe new building is a public/private partnership between the City of Conover\, the Manufacturing Solutions Center\, Catawba Valley Community College and private equity group Whiskbroom. The new building houses four operating companies which graduated from the MSC incubator\, a new Fabric Formation Lab\, an expanded Structural Engineering area\, a PPE/Textile Resource Lab\, and state-of-the-art conference area for economic development.\nThe upfit MSC I includes a PPE Testing lab and new lab space to support US manufacturers and entrepreneurs. \nTours of both buildings will begin at 4PM on March 30th\, with the grand opening ceremony at 5PM followed by a reception. \n\n4 PM to 5 PM – Tours of the MSC I and MSC II Buildings\n5 PM to 5:45 PM – Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting\n5:45 PM to 7 PM – Reception\nRSVP to attend \n\nContact Jacqueline Collins at jcollins074@cvcc.edu or 828-327-7000\, ext. 4379 for more information.\n  \nEdited to add more information.
