SUMMARY:Open Call: Fiber Artist-in-Residence Opportunity Returns for 2025
DESCRIPTION:TOSS Studio’s “Circularity at Play” Artist-in-Residence program is back—and we’re inviting one visionary fiber artist to join us this fall in Morganton\, NC for a five-week creative journey that blends sustainability\, education\, and community. The selected artist will create five original fiber works using 90% recycled materials\, lead engaging art workshops for K–8 students\, and exhibit their work during a community-wide celebration. One of the final pieces will be selected for permanent display at The Industrial Commons\, contributing to our shared creative legacy. \nResidency Details:\n$6\,200 stipend + lodging\nResidency dates: October 29 – December 9\, 2025\nApplication window: May 1 – June 15\nArtist announced: June 27 \nThis is a chance to tap into circularity\, play\, and purpose—and to inspire a region through fiber art!
