DESCRIPTION:Update (3 March 2025):  Registration for this event is now closed!  However\, you are still welcome to contact Chris Rabassi\, chris.rabassi@usmc.mil\, or the North Carolina Military Business Center if you have questions about Department of Defense contracting. \nAlso\, the intent is to hold this event on a semi-annual basis.  The next one will be in late-October 2025\, or early November 2025 and the following will be in late-February 2026\, or early March 2026. \nAgain\, you are always welcome to contact Chris Rabassi\, chris.rabassi@usmc.mil\, or the North Carolina Military Business Center if you have questions about Department of Defense contracting. \nWhen. Tun Alley Event Center\, Building 84\, Hadnot Point Plaza\, Marine Corps Base\, Camp Lejeune \nPurpose of the Outreach Event. \n\nInform and educate businesses on the North Carolina-based support organizations available to assist businesses in becoming eligible and competitive for Department of Defense contracts.\nInform businesses on how to do business with the various contracting organizations aboard Camp Lejeune.\nProvide businesses general information on upcoming opportunities.\n\nPremise of the Outreach Event. \n\nMany businesses do not know where to start in becoming eligible and competitive for Department of Defense contracts.\nFor existing businesses\, there are many new regulations and requirements regarding Department of Defense contracting.\nMany businesses are not aware of opportunities aboard Camp Lejeune.\n\nGoals of the Outreach Event. \n\nBusinesses leave with a greater understanding of the support organizations available to assist them.\nIncrease the base of eligible and competitive businesses proposing on Department of Defense contracts.\n\nWho should participate in the Outreach Event:  Businesses interested in doing business with the Department of Defense\, businesses currently doing business with the Department of Defense.  Please note registration is limited to 100 people due to capacity limitations. \nConfirmed Presenters (Support Organizations):  \n\nMarine Corps Installations East Small Business Programs\nSmall Business Administration\nNorth Carolina Military Business Center\nCoastal Carolina Community College\nSmall Business Technology Development Center\n\nConfirmed Presenters (Contracting Offices): \n\nMarine Corps installations East Regional Contracting Office\nMarine Corps Special Operations Command\nMarine Corps Community Services\nNaval Facilities Engineering and Systems Command\n\nInformation will be provided on how to do business with the Commissary and Marine Corps Exchange \nCost:  Free to all registrants and presenters.  However\, you must register. \nREGISTRATION IS CLOSED AT MAX CAPACITY \nIf you have any questions about this event\, please contact Mr. Chris Rabassi\, chris.rabassi@usmc.mil
