SUMMARY:UNC Charlotte Engineering Senior Design Expo
DESCRIPTION:Approximately 100 Engineering Senior Design teams will be showing the results of their design projects. About 80% of the projects are doing work for a Industry partner. Several of the projects are partially supported by NC MEP grants. The NC MEP grant program allows the participation of some small\, NC based manufacturing companies that otherwise would not be able to participate in the Senior Design program. Industry Senior Design projects focus on a design challenge from their partner company regarding a problem faced in their business. \nThe event is targeted to industry companies that are participating\, or interested in future participation in the UNC Charlotte Engineering Senior Design Program. The Program is unique in that it is very large (500 students\, 100 projects\, projects are multidisciplinary and a very high (~80%) of the projects are funded by an industry partner. Engineering managers or HR professionals that are interested in engaging with the Lee College of engineering are the target attendees.
