The Research Triangle Nanotechnology Network offers access to nanotechnology facilities in the Research Triangle area for researchers, and includes education, workforce training, and outreach programs designed to train the next generation of scientists, engineers, and technicians. The RTNN not only serves as a portal to physical resources in the Research Triangle, but also intellectual resources by leveraging the expertise of over 100 principal faculty and over 45 technical staff members.
