Jeff Neuville directs CVCC’s Manufacturing Solutions Center, which creates about $10 million in economic impact annually. It helps customers grow their sales, implement cost savings and support expansions. “We have seen an uptick in companies having an interest in creating domestic supply chains and evaluating shifting production to the United States,”
he says.

Australian company Thread the Word, which manufactures custom gift blankets, is one example. It opened its U.S. operations in the MSC incubator in 2025. “We’re excited to have Thread the Word at the MSC,” Neuville says. “Our mission is to expand and support our domestic manufacturing base, so it’s very satisfying to help a manufacturer begin operations here in the U.S.”

MSC also helps Kathedra, a startup bringing automation to the furniture industry. “[It] develops robotic systems to enable custom just-in-time production at scale while enabling workers to focus on their craft, creating a new future of work,” Neuville says.
