American Manufacturing Communities Collaborative

The House Manufacturing Caucus is partnering with the American Manufacturing Communities Collaborative (AMCC) for a briefing entitled National and Regional Tactics to Strengthen the American Manufacturing Workforce on Tuesday, June 7, from 2-3pm EDT.

We will hear from national and regional leaders engaged in collaborations between industry, government, and labor to strengthen the manufacturing workforce. With technology changing rapidly and manufacturing job openings at record levels, the future of this sector depends on effective, synergistic strategies at the federal, state, and local levels to recruit and upskill workers. The panel will discuss how this can be achieved through local communities coming together to address workforce needs as part of efforts to build a manufacturing economic development ecosystem.
