Who Should Attend

Those interested in enhancing their experience and knowledge with micro-credentials.

There are many types of non-degree credentials that today’s learners can earn. Understanding the value of various credentials can help manufacturers decide who to hire and what training to seek for current employees.

This presentation will examine, at a high level, a type of credential known as a micro-credential, which takes less time to earn than a certificate or degree. It will also provide details about a free digital badge called Cyber4RAM, which builds cyber awareness among robotics, automation and mechatronics (RAM) manufacturing technicians.

Key Takeaways:

  • Attendees will learn about micro-credentials and how they are perceived in manufacturing.
  • Attendees will see a demonstration of the Cyber4RAM badge, which can be earned by their technicians and helps to raise awareness of how to protect against cyber threats.
