North Carolina Trade Show Booth Overseas

Join us for the EDPNC’s next Export Coffee Talk on Tuesday, July 23 to learn how you can reach international markets and save money by co-exhibiting in a North Carolina trade show booth overseas. Small and large companies welcome!

The International Trade Development Team at the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) helps North Carolina companies reach and succeed in international markets through product and/or service sales.

International Trade Manager Melissa McGurk will lead this informative discussion. She will share opportunities to co-exhibit with upcoming trade show delegations for the Life Sciences industry (medical/biotech/healthcare).

Topics to be covered:

  • What are the international trade events where EDPNC plans to offer co-exhibiting opportunities?
    • MEDICA trade show (Germany) – November 2024
    • Arab Health Trade Show (UAE) – January 2025
    • Swiss Biotech Day (Switzerland) – May 2025
    • Potential Trade Mission to Ireland – May 2025
  • What are the critical criteria for becoming part of a delegation?
  • What is a shared booth space like, and how would I show my product/services?
  • How will my International Trade Manager support my company leading up to the show?
  • What financial support is available?
  • What are the qualifications for grant support?
  • What costs can I expect as a company that might not qualify for grant reimbursement?
  • How much does it cost to co-exhibit if my company qualifies for assistance with the State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) Grant?
