IME South: 6 Connected Expos.1 Powerful Event.

Every other year, the IME South show comes to Charlotte, North Carolina.
This year, the event will be held June 4-6, 2024 at the Charlotte Convention Center, 501 S College St, Charlotte, NC 28202. Six trade shows share the expo floor, from medtech and robotics to packaging, design plastics and processing, the design, engineering and manufacturing event connects multiple verticals and industries.
A full schedule of educational workshops are planned. KeAnne Hoeg, NC State University Industry Expansion Solutions, Director, Data Management Systems, Supplier Matching and Reporting, will be presenting, “Growing Your Business through Local Sourcing” and free sourcing resources available from the North Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NCMEP) supplier matching program on Thursday, June 6, 12:15-1 p.m., in the MedTech Theater. This session will highlight what opportunities exist in North Carolina specifically but also nationally for manufacturers to both seek and become suppliers, growing their business. The panel will discuss what programs exist to help match suppliers with opportunities as well as the current state of manufacturing in North Carolina. Manufacturers and stakeholders in the EV, offshore wind and other sectors will highlight what supplier opportunities exist in those areas and what they have experienced trying to source locally in North Carolina and domestically. Attendees will leave the session understanding the resources and opportunities available to them to growth their business through domestic sourcing.
