The Emerging Leaders program, created by Business NC and Industry Extension Services, is designed to help employees grow into leadership positions.
We are launching the program at the North Carolina Manufacturing Conference, MFGCON, on April 14-15, 2026, in Winston-Salem, NC. The emerging leaders will participate in several intensive sessions designed as career-building experiences focused on leadership development, effective communication, and presenting and selling ideas within the workplace. In addition to these focused programs, participants will also attend MFGCON, gaining broader exposure to industry trends, innovation, and professional networking opportunities.
Who should participate in the Emerging Leadership Program:
- High-potential professionals in North Carolina’s manufacturing community — plant managers, engineers, operations supervisors, analysts, and others who are ready to take the next step in leadership.
