This webinar is for Senior leadership, Leadership teams, Supervisors, Managers, Technical leaders, project team members, or anyone who wants to learn the basics of how to effectively manage projects.

This course aligns with guidance from the Project Management Institute (PMI), and provides a framework for how to successfully manage a project and reduce wasted time by understanding the roles, functions and flow used by successful project teams. The course also contains a simulation exercise to apply the skills presented to gain confidence in applying them to a real-world application.

Adrianne Kroll is assistant director of quality for NC State Industry Expansion Solutions (IES). Adrianne began her career in the defense industry supporting Navy nuclear aircraft carrier and submarine design and construction as a systems engineer. She also supported the US Military as an analyst for the United States Joint Forces Command. She has led various cross-functional teams, with employees on all levels including upper management, in documenting processes, identifying waste, and brainstorming improvements in the areas of customer support, information technology, engineering, and supply chain management. She has helped companies implement metrics to track on-time delivery and customer satisfaction and has experience in systems & industrial engineering, risk management, requirements management, configuration & change management, and business process improvement. She has a B.S. in electrical engineering technology, a M.S. in systems engineering, and is a Six Sigma Green Belt. Her main focus is quality management systems, but her expertise includes Kaizen initiatives & Lean manufacturing strategies, business process mapping and project management.
