Starting a business can be daunting, especially for entrepreneurs with little knowledge of manufacturing and production. However, North Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership network member Manufacturing Solutions Center (MSC) in Conover, North Carolina, is helping start-ups find their footing and soar to success. This hidden gem provides valuable resources and support to companies, enabling them to survive and thrive in the competitive market.

The MSC, part of Catawba Valley Community College, offers an Incubator Program that allows start-ups to set up pilot manufacturing facilities within the center. Established over a decade ago, this program gives new companies access to on-site production capabilities and a wide range of equipment, resources, and services. The program is a part of MSC’s mission to help U.S. manufacturers increase sales, improve quality, and enhance efficiency to create and retain jobs, making it an ideal launching pad for aspiring entrepreneurs.
