Coolest Thing Made in NC — Nominations Open!

 
It’s time.

The NC Chamber is beyond excited to officially launch its sixth annual Coolest Thing Made in NC contest, sponsored this year by Baxter International.

From heavy machinery and private jets, to delicious food products and textiles, some pretty incredible products are manufactured in North Carolina. But which one is the “coolest?”

You get to decide.

Nominations are now open and will be accepted until Wednesday, August 13, at 9 p.m. The field of nominees will be announced Thursday, August 21, at which point live voting begins.
 

 
New for 2025: This year’s competition will include three categories:

Small Business Category: 1 to 99 employees
Medium Business Category: 100 to 999 employees
Large Business Category: 1,000+ employees

The products receiving the most votes in each category will move to subsequent rounds of competition, with the final winners announced Thursday, October 2.

Remember that any product manufactured in North Carolina in eligible for this contest. Company headquarters do not have to be in North Carolina.
